How did you get started in bodybuilding and competing?

My whole life I’ve been trying to get bigger and stronger. When I was younger I thought if you worked hard enough, anyone could be a champion bodybuilder. But as I got older, my progress was so slow I eventually gave up on the dream of competing. When I got divorced in 1998 I started working out in gyms and started to see gains again.
